Dear people, we would like to bring something to your attention.
Uiliam, our friend and a pastor in Brazil, with whom we lived in his house for 3 months, is going on a missiontrip to Mozambique and Malawi with 22 Brazilians in August.
The plan is to edify our brothers and sisters in their faith and to hand out Bibles.
Also a few dentists will be a part of the group, who will provide their services free of charge. Furthermore, a few baptism ceremonies have been planned with more than 500 people who want to be baptised. In short, a big party.
We will join them in Malawi and, among other things, hold a large conference.
Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong. The man from the Brazilian travel agency turns out to be a fraudster. He booked the 22 tickets for this travel group, but then cancelled the tickets again after a few weeks and ran off with the money (around 20,000 dollar).
A report has been filed, but the authorities are very slow there.
Uiliam, our honest friend, is in dire straits and feels very responsible as the leader of this mission. People are calling him to account, but he believes that God still wants this mission to continue. So he has started a crowdfunding in Brazil (link is in Portuguese).
Let us help our brother in this need. In prayer and finances.
If one member suffers, all members suffer with him. And if everyone contributes a little, this disaster will be turned into a glorious victory.
