How beautiful the Netherlands is in spring! We enjoy it to the fullest. That is not so difficult with blossoming trees around your house and 5 lambs in the meadow outside your door. Every day we thank the Lord for the beautiful place He has already planned for us.
When we arrived in Holland, we just decided to combine the obligatory 3 months outside Brazil with a Dutch rule. Every Dutch citizen is required to spend 4 months a year in the Netherlands. And how nice it is then, that we can spend those months in spring! So at the end of June we are free to go out again.
- Our home with blossom tree
- Dutch glory
- Magnolia!
The training school in Brazil continues steadily despite our absence. We teach online at night and Uiliam also teaches on site. Apart from the extra afternoon naps we take, this is working very well. Praise the Lord for modern technology and a helpful Nivaldo, who helps as a translator.
Beautiful testimonies are coming in from the students. For example, 2 enthusiastic female students went to the streets after class. They had just learned how to tell someone the good news of God in a simple way. They applied this way in a conversation with a man on the street and the result was that he surrendered his life to Jesus.
Also, once in the evening the students went to the bus station to tell people about Jesus. We had talked that week about hearing God, listening to the Holy Spirit and letting Him lead you. Before they went they prayed with each other. One student had a picture from God during prayer in which she saw a man with a green shirt riding a bicycle. When the group got to the bus station, this student saw exactly what she had seen in the image, a man with a green shirt on a bicycle. She was so touched that she began to cry and others called out to the man to speak to him for a moment. God already had this man in mind. After the conversation, he surrendered his life to Jesus.
- Overnight teaching
- Sharing a Word of prophecy
- Practicing prophesying in the classroom
Next plans are beginning to take a little more shape. As we have told you before, Uiliam is in contact with pastors in Mozambique and Malawi (read back)
Some months ago he asked us if we could help, because these people are eager to be further trained in a life with God through the Bible. Several of them do not yet know much of the Word or even have a Bible.
Uiliam is focusing particularly on the people of Mozambique because of the Portuguese language. But there is also a call coming from Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania: come over and help us.
So the A-team can be deployed again.
Once there is enough money for a ticket, Uiliam wants to send from Brazil in June, Pastor Ailton to Mozambique for 3 months to teach and help. We could then go to Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania and serve the believers there.
When exactly we will go in that direction we don’t know yet, but at least after the end of June.
God is certainly moving to work new encounters and adventures.
